For many of us, the first two months of the new year mark a chance to reset, rewind, review, renew, repurpose, re-arrange and 2023 is no exception. Every story in this issue speaks to challenges, opportunities, and the transformative power of hope for the LGBTI+ Community and their immediate families, friends, and support structures, to live in a discrimination-free society.

Right up front, find out about the beauty of love in celebration of Valentine’s month, then learn first-hand about the power of a hard-working being, breaking gender stereotypes and a host of lifestyle features in a fast-changing world. Find out how a couple navigated their wedding ceremony or channel the spirit of Springbok Women who take their time to uplift local young girls by introducing them to touch rugby.

Finally, I’m happy to report that one of our Founders and an Author, Indlovukazi Mapule who has been holding down the publication amid the coronavirus pandemic, graciously agreed that we delve into her biography in our book review feature.

Each of these stories speaks to our faith in the future, and I’m excited to share them with you.
